About Us
Darren and Sally have over 40 years combined experience in the industry. Sally has extensive knowledge of fasteners having worked for 2 importers and 3 independent distributors before combining with Darren to build the reputable business they have today. They have dedicated and conscientious staff who are all committed to ensuring the customer receives great service. All internal staff have each been with us for a minimum of 2 years and are extremely capable of delivering the results the customers are looking for. They regularly train staff in store with the help of supplier reps to keep up to date with changes, new products and refreshing knowledge already learnt to enable the staff members to continue to give great customer service. All internal staff have been trained and licenced to use our forklift on site.
We have expanded our supply into the Construction market since we joined with CSS and we are constantly expanded our range to meet our customer requirements as they realise we can supply as good or better product that they traditional buy from hardware stores. We are building strong relationships with local tradesmen and construction companies such as FK Gardner, Pollock Construction, Kevin Walker, Roma Concrete, Grulke Concreting

CSS is a nationwide alliance of independently owned and operated supply specialists for the Construction, Mining, Industrial and Engineering industries. We are one of over fifty members who meet twice a year to discuss innovations and updates as well as sharing our accumulated wisdom and marketing strategies and networking with our valued supplier partners. As a CSS member we enjoy better buying power, freight free deals, access to a professional marketing team and an overflowing wealth of knowledge across all industries.
CSS publish a FATPIG (Fasteners Adhesives Tools Product Information Guide) which are readily available to our clients which gives a snapshot of thousands of products that we can procure. The FATPIG gives an introduction to more than 200 well-known brand names, but as it’s condensed into 340 pages it is only an overview. To give you an idea these brand names complete catalogues fill a 6 foot bookcase in our office and we have plenty more brands that fill a second 6 foot bookcase, so it’s always worth asking us directly what we can source as it’s impossible to simplify it into one format. CSS also produce four Fatmag catalogues a year that are usually around sixty pages packed with informative articles and supplier specials and read like a magazine with a puzzles page at the back.
